If you follow along with my life on Instagram and/or SnapChat (ElleSpann), then you know that as of January, I started working out again. (RPT Dallas is my trainer!) My running injury kind of halted my progress; however, I am back at it and so happy. Isak Dinesen's quote "The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears or the sea" really is true. Sweaty, happy endorphins, for the win! (side note, I have been doing CorePower Yoga for several months and love it; however, that's not cardio)

You may think that I am obsessing over everything, because I am recently engaged and preparing for my wedding. While that may be correct, I really want to make it a lifestyle again. Healthy habits are just as hard to break as the bad ones.

One of my fitness goals for the year, is to workout more with weights. I didn't do much of this in the past (hence the goal), so I'm not used to being aware of my jewelry. I never specifically put on jewelry to go  to the gym; however, sometimes it just makes sense to leave  jewelry on, as it is safer on your person, than in a locker. My engagement ring is definitely one of those items! I want it to be safe, but I also don't want to scratch it up. So, what do I do?

The Ring Wrapper to the rescue! I'm not sure how I found this product - I believe it was on one of the Well + Good emails I receive, but when I saw it, I  knew I had to have it! Mine is the clear glitter option, out of the diamond collection. It leaves enough space so that my center diamond is safe, yet also secure. It not only prevents scratches or dings, but it also kind of seals around my  finger, preventing dirt or grime from collecting around it too.

If you're reading this and thinking PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT WEDDING STUFF, I feel ya... BUT, I actually found this product before I got engaged and bought it for my Baylor ring. Just like last week's product feature wasn't just for diamond rings, this one isn't either!

In addition to the diamond collection, they have a flat lie collection that works over any rings, without a protruding gemstone. They are perfect for protecting any of your slender rings, but also for your guys, if he wears a ring. I think this would be a cool gift for any active guy, as it is unique, thoughtful and effective. I mean, Valentine's Day is coming up;)

I am all about buying investment pieces and jewelry definitely falls into that category. Lengthening its life is a top priority of mine, so I love the Ring Wrapper! What do you do with your jewelry if you don't have a safe place to put it? Would you ever use something like the Ring Wrapper?

As always, if you know a brand that fits my style or are a company that would like to work with me, contact me here! If you want to catch up on the previous weeks' features, check out my Southern Elle Style Shop Share Pinterest Board here, with direct links to the posts.
