Another day, another dollar, daylight comes, and I'm on my way! Happy new week, y'all. I had a great weekend, and I hope you did too. I feel like as the wedding approaches, the days are going faster. I mean here we are, essentially at September!! Our last "vacation" before the wedding is coming up this weekend. We are headed to San Antonio, to collaborate with Hotel Contessa, and I can't wait! I have been to San Antonio several times before, but never to just relax. Let me know if there are any must sees, do's or eats :) Make sure you are following along on Instagram + Snap Chat to see what's going on!

Anyway, back to my San Francisco series, if you are new to it, you can catch up by reading The Perfect Tourist Outfit + Where to Get Coffee in San Francisco. When I traveled to San Fran, in July, I got to use my new Delsey Chatillon suitcase for the first time, and boy was it heaven! I love how you don't have to tip it to roll it, and the "overweight indicator" at the top is perfection...especially when you're bringing back wine ;) Delsey really knows what they are doing, in fact, this year they are celebrating a major milestone - their 70 year anniversary. To commemorate this they are going to be doing 70 days of giveaways through the end of 2016. These giveaways will be posted on their social media platforms (primarily Facebook but Instagram as well) and will feature new collections, anniversary editions, and gifts from partners that they've worked with throughout the years including Marie Claire, Lancome and Southern Bride. Be sure to keep an eye out! I'd love for one of y'all to win.

With so many trips (not complaining!), I have had to learn the art of packing and thought I'd share some of my hacks, with ya! Enjoy!

1) Roll your clothes - I have been doing this since my summer camp days. If you roll right, there won't be any wrinkles when you arrive at your destination, plus it takes up less space, than folded clothes. It also keeps outfits together, if you want to roll in coordination!

2) Pack outfits in large ziploc baggies and place them back in the bag after wearing - It keeps your dirty clothes from the clean ones and if anything explodes on the airplane, it keeps them from getting soiled. I also did this in summer camp and it was so helpful to have next day's outfit ready at the grab of a bag - underwear and all!

3) Place a pot holder on hair tools with heat like curling iron -  I don't know why, but this makes me think of Chili's. People would always steal their pepper printed pot holder that they put on their skillet queso. Something like this is perfect for a curling iron or straitener, to keep the heat off of your clothes and accessories.

4) Use a shower cap to cover bottom of your shoes / pair them together - So, my dad always brought my sister and me back shower caps from wherever he traveled. It was somewhat of an inside joke, but we always loved getting them. I wish I would have known then, that I could have been putting my shoes in them! Seriously, put your shoes in some shower caps and it ill keep the dirt and grime off of the rest of your belongings!

5) Fill your hat with clothes to help it keep its shape - Whether you're packing a straw hat or your beloved adjustable, roll some clothes and place it inside the crown of the hat and lay it flat on the bottom of the suitcase. Obviously you can't stack anything on top of it, just around it; nevertheless, it helps it from getting smooshed!

6) Pack your heaviest items at the bottom, closest to the wheels - You don't want a top heavy suitcase. This will make it easier to roll and cause less shifting inside your suitcase, as a whole.

7) Stuff your shoes -  To give yourself more room, place your socks, underwear, any other small, malleable item, inside of your shoes. It keeps them in place and frees up space.

8) Stabilize your jewelry - You don't want to wind up at your destination with your jewelry all a muck! Put your necklaces through straws and your earrings through large buttonholes, before placing in your jewelry bag. This keeps them from getting tangled, but also, easily found.

9) Fold and stack your bras - It sucks when your belongings lose shape, because of the way they were packed. Bras aren't cheap, so treat them nicely! Fold them in half, so the cups are going the same way. Do the same with your other bras and stack them on top of each other. This ensures minimal shape damage!

10) Use Excel to plan outfits and pack less. This may make me a nerd, but I LOVE doing this. You can really see how much you're bringing and what kind of items you can re-use. Whether it's a white tank you can wear more than once, or a pair of shoes that can do double-time, make it work. I usually pack 2 outfits per day, not including pajamas or workout clothes. You can help yourself not over-pack, by looking at it from a logical standpoint like Excel. Sometimes when you're staring at the items themselves, you just NEED to bring them all and that's just not the case...

Do you have any packing tips or tricks? I'd love to learn them! Let me know, in the comments below.
