Trend Alert: Perforated Shoes

Trend Alert: Perforated Shoes

Marc Fisher Annie Wedges | Nordstrom Long Sleeve Swing Dress | Abercrombie Boyfriend Cardigan | Baublebar Earrings

Happy Weekend, y'all! It's been so chilly in Dallas, as of late; however, that doesn't keep me from dreaming of sunnier days! Take this photo for example...case and point oh, my gosh!! This outfit looked better in my mirror selfie I took while styling, but oh well. It represents Texas and its crazy weather! I mean, you even get some cactus in the background!!

This swing dress is the prettiest purple and is great with booties or boots, but can easily be paired with sandals, once the warmth comes rolling in. Today in Dallas was VERY cold for some reason. My phone kept telling me it was low 50's, but I swear it felt like more 40's. Don't you worry. It's going to be 80 degrees this coming week. Point being, Texas weather (and I'm sure several other places too!) is all about layering. One of my favorite ways to transition to spring is with my shoes. You can mix winter styles with more springy footwear make it through that awkward cold to hot period juuuuuust fine.

First up on this years spring shoe trends is perforation! Several years ago, laser cutting was "in" for apparel (and still is kind of) and I think this is a trickle down of that trend. You can't go 5 feet without seeing some kind of perforated shoe these days!! Can't say I'm complaining...I love the breathability!  Right now my favorite perforated shoe is the one I'm wearing! I don't know what Marc Fisher does, but these Annie wedges are out of this world comfy and cute! I love bringing cute shoes on vacation, but dread the thought of having to walk around in heels. Getting blisters on a trip is no bueno! These wedges are under $200 and in my opinion totally worth it, but I know that's not in everyone's budget, let alone style, so here is a little perforated round up for you! Below are some of my favorites, but I put them into categories as well! Shop this picture via the small widget below. Each category has their own seperate widget you can scroll and click through!

Flats

Lace-up

Sandals

Booties

What do you think of this trend? Personally, I think it is subtle enough to where anyone can pull it off!
