Happy Saturday! It's a big weekend in Dallas...TX OU weekend! Every year around this time, Texas Orange and crimson floods the State Fair Ground - which means that I steer clear of that area! Don't get me wrong- I love the fair. I live for a Fletcher's corny dog and some good ol' yellow mustard. If you have been following me for a while, you know I actually bring an empty ziploc to the fair, pump my mustard in there, then have the perfect walking and dipping device for my corny dog!

While we are talking about mustard - I say "yellow" mustard, because there is a difference between that and brown mustard/dijon, which I DO NOT like. Regardless of the taste, I'm a huge fan of mustard (of any kind!) for apparel! It's definitely a trend that will carry into the spring, so go ahead and stock up! This kind won't go bad on you;)

Yellow in general is making its mark on the fashion scene - chartreuse (my favorite color!) is one of those hues. It's a color that just draws me in. That's why I fell for this Free People Pink Star Mini Dress! I loved the silhouette (the sleeves!!) but the color was just on point!!

I know chartreuse scares people a little bit, because they aren't sure how to style it. It is a great "new neutral" though. Pair it with leopard, pink, grey, or even denim! Give it a try;) Buuuut if that color till makes you nervous, try yellow mustard. It's a little easier to style and is a more approachable hue. I love pairing it with navy, but it goes well with greens and reds, too! I meannnn did you see the yellow/denim look I shared here or my elegant evening look with navy and gold here?

Okay so are you ready? I did a color crush round-up for you with both colors. First up, we have chartreuse! Just click and image to be taken to the direct link. If it doesn't work, just refresh the page and it should load a clickable image!

Anddddd equally as pretty, we have mustard! I'll have that dress in the lower righthand corner on the blog very soon!

Soooo what do you think of these colors? Do your sport them? What's your favorite way to wear them? I feel like there's a variation for everyone! Thanks for reading and enjoy your fall weekend!
